Transcending borders. Changing lives.

Globally, 5 billion people lack access to effective and affordable surgery. Children, adolescents and adults suffer and die every day from curable causes, and one in eight children will die before their fifth birthday.

With the support of people like you, we deploy hospital ships to combat this overwhelming statistic. Since more than 50% of the world’s population lives near a coastline, our ships are the best way to reach them with state-of-the-art medical care.

Mercy Ships aims to be the face of love in action, bringing health and future to the people most in need
Naves de Esperanza uses hospital ships to transform lives and serve nations one by one. We follow Jesus’ 2,000 year-old model, bringing hope and healing to the world’s poor and forgotten
Desiring to follow the model of Jesus, we seek to:

  • Love God.
  • Love and serve others.
  • Be people of integrity.
  • Be people of excellence in all we say and do.

Mercy Ships Spain

Mercy Ships Spain aims to raise awareness, recruit volunteers, obtain material and support from companies and businesses and raise the necessary funds to continue this valuable work. Currently, Mercy Ships Spain has a team of volunteer staff, with its national office situated in Madrid and a local office in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Mercy Ships Spain is dedicated to raising financial resources for the operation of the ships and the land-based projects. One of the greatest ways that Mercy Ships reduces its costs is by seeking donations of goods and services from companies, which saves the organization thousands of dollars annually.

Raising Awareness
Naves de Esperanza Spain has among its objectives to raise awareness among the public in general, as well as to the political and social authorities, on the great need of many people in developing countries and ways we can help.

Mercy Ships welcomes those who have the time to devote to the work of bringing hope and healing to the world’s poorest peoples. Mercy Ships Spain assists the recruitment process of those interested in serving with Mercy Ships.
