The newest ship in the fleet, the Africa Mercy, is 152 m in length and measures 16,572 GRT. Currently in the UK being renovated from a rail ferry into a hospital ship, this vessel will overtake the Anastasis as the world's largest non-governmental hospital ship when completed, with six operating theatres and a 78-bed ward.
